I plan on getting one of these but have a quick question. Does it damage the eye when it’s submersed under water? I plan on installing this in my sump. When I do a water change, I cut the return pump which then backcycles a little and causes the water level in my sump to raise approx 4†. This will obviously submerge the “eye†and I just want to make sure it won’t cause any damage, or malfuntions.
