Hey Roger,
So I just got a Tunze Osmolator 3155 to use in my 100g building that I'm currently working on. I have a question about the magnets included with it as there are several warnings about them.

Are they neodymium? I've seen some extremely powerful magnets before and I was thinking that these are them. Thanks for the help!

Yes, but in the coming weeks they will transition to ferrite as Neodymium has gone up in price exponentially (600% in the last 12 months). Neodymium also comes in many grades and the grade we use is mid grade, the weakest one is about the same as ferrite magnets in strength, just more magnet is required to get the same hold. Right now an osmo magnet will stick on 3/4", the ferrite version will work on 5/8" and the magnet holder will be about 1/4" thicker.

Oh cool. Now I wad initially planning on making a mount out of acrylic and using a different method to attach the sensors but considering that they are neodymium (I already have mine) ill think ill just use them as is. The image from amazon had a different mounting kit pictured. I know that magnets like this are extremely powerful. Thanks for the help.
