Tunze Osmolator and dosing kalkwasser

Is it possible to does kalk directly with the osmolator pump. I'm thinking of mixing up some kalkwasser in a 5 gallon bucket with some egg crate on the bottom to keep the pump suspended out of any precipitate that may form. Is this possible? Are there any concerns of running the pump in kalk?
