I've noticed recently that my Tunze auto top up sensor no longer seems to recognise when the water drops below the required level. I have tried cleaning the sensor with vinegar but it is still not working. The pump works fine. I can only assume its the sensor.

Am I am to purchase just the sensor in Canada?

I cannot answer as to the stock of spare parts of Xenia Inc, the distributor for Canada. In general this is not a part that is sold outright as it is not an easy install, the old one must be unsoldered and the new one soldered in place and is instead done as a repair service. In the US we are out of this part but we expect more next week. I would contact Xenia through the webiste xeniainc.com or call them.

Hello Roger,

Thanks for the information. I have experience in soldering, the replacement install would not be a problem for me.

When mine went wrong I just cut the cable and joined the new sensor wires together

no need to even open up the box let alone get a soldering iron out
