Tunze Osmolator Universal 3155 pump failure

Howdy. I bought a 3155 in October and this last week came to discover that the pump is no longer working.

I disconnected the leads and saw 11v going to the pump with a volt meter after unplugging/replugging, so it looks like the controller is working ok.

Can any Tunze folks help me get this replaced?

Thanks

The more common scenario is the voltage is there but without the amperage to drive the pump, it is more likely a controller problem. A quick test is to touch the pump wires directly to a 9V battery, if the pump does not run, beyond a doubt the pump is dead. If it does run, it is a grey area, the pump can use more amperage than the controller will allow so the battery which has no safety circuitry can run it, or it is the controller with insufficient amperage to drive the pump. I would be 90% sure it is the controller and if you send it in we will replace it. Just include a return address and phone number in the box and I would include the pump to be sure.

You're right. Pump spins up great with a 9v battery. Into the mail the controller and pump go.
