I recently bought one of these of a forum and the alarm keeps going off for no apparent reason. The water level is ok and the pump isn't topping up. The float balance isn't anywhere near activating. Any suggestions?

Are you using the magnet mount? If so it has to be mounted in the right direction to be magnetically shielded from the magnet mount itself. If you remove the float and hold it does it stop?

I have gone through the instruction manual as I have moved the sensor but now have the

Red LED "œToo low" is flashing = metering pump had been operating for more than ten minutes and has been switched off. The normal water level has not been reached. Potential cause: Storage container is empty; the hose is soiled or kinked; the pump is defective; air in the pump; soiled, defective or unhooked operating sensor (2). Reset is possible by short disconnection from the mains.

Normal water level is present, container is full, no kink or any other visible fault on hose, no air in pump. Even after reset light continues to flash.

These issues would generally point to some sort of electromagnetic interference affecting the controller or water damage. How old is the controller? Is the too high light also on?

Controller is 6 months old. I've checked and there doesn't seem to be any damage. The controller isn't near any pumps etc

If it's only 6 months old, send it in to be fixed. I just got mine back a week ago, and works better than new. Great customer service.

The main culprits are ballasts, wireless control devices and LED drivers. Is it just the too low light or too low and too high? Too low only will mean an optic sensor failure or magnetic field issue and both is more commonly a water damage issue. You are welcome to send it in, anything except water damage to the board or cut wires would be warranty, the only reason I ask is there is a chance if it is just due to an electromagnetic field we could walk through it and solve the problem.
