Tunze Osmolator using 2 metering pumps?

My water volume is 200 gal and my old osmolator didn't seem to top off with the evaporation fast enough for my volume. My topoff is around 5 gal per day.

I'm thinking to purchase a new Osmolator and wonder if can I use 2 metering pumps at the wire splice? I have a new spare pump laying around.

No, the controller limits the power draw to 1200mA, a single pump uses 900-1200mA, it would cause the controller to shut off the pumps. Further the power supply can only deliver 1600mA. It should be able to handle a 200gallon tank, but 5gpd is a very high amount of evaporation.
