Hello,

I've had this particular unit for quite some time. The pump has been replaced w/in the past couple years. I think my head unit is not working. I've cleaned the water sensor, and it still blinks red, yet no pump action. (it shouldn't anyway) Most of the time, I unplug the power from the unit and when I plug it back in, it just blinks red, or doesn't blink at all. Maybe a connection problem? Does it make sense to send the whole thing in to see if it can be repaired? They're relatively inexpensive, (well, for this hobby anyway) so I could buy new, but if I can get away with a repair for less, I'd certainly do that.

Thanks

Right away the too low red light blinks red? Or does it blink after some minutes? Let me know more about what lights blink and after how long. Either way, if I can't repair it, I would discount a replacement so I would send it in, but I would like to know more about the issue.

Hi Roger, sorry for delay in response, busy weekend! The lights blink red, period. Never green now. (even when water level is at or above where it should be) That's even if I can get it to power up. It seems the connection between the unit and the power cord may be bad? Sometimes I get power, other times I do not. But when I do, it's just a red blink.

Please send it in, include a note with return address and phone number, the controller, power supply and pump.
