Tunze pump placements on a 225

I need some advice on pump placement.

I have the following:

72x30x24 glass tank
(2) 6205
(2) 6100
(1) Vortech MP40w

What are your thoughts on placement and settings for the 7096? There is about a 2" sand bed and a center trapezoid overflow. Thanks.

I don't think you need so many pumps, I would start with just the 2 6205 placed in the back corners about 12" from the top aimed to hit the front about 5ft away and use Interval mode with 6 hour interval and 3 second pulse from 30-100%. I would then add the other pumps where the flow is needed but you probably don't need all of them.

Hi, first off, good news, your pumps are supposed to ship to me tomorrow, we should have them at the end of next week.

What a 6hr interval means is one pump pulses for 6hrs and 6hrs later they switch off so there is always a pump running. 6hrs roughly mimics the change of tides where water would rush in and then rush out at 5-6hr intervals.
