Is this pump quiet enough for me to sleep 3 feet from it and not notice it?

Looking to upgrade my biocube 29 return pump...

That is a very difficult question to answer, most of the noises pumps make are from vibrating against a hard surface and this increases with flow restriction. It is a very quiet pump, but if the pump is against a hard surface and has many restrictions it could make more noise. You would honestly just have to try it, I couldn't make any promises, but I don't know of a quieter pump when it is just plugged in and left to run sitting on its suction cup feet.
