i have my skimmer in the sump, its a wet dry,the water comes in from the hoses over the pre filter, trickles down over the bio balls, then i have my pump first, right next to it is a foam block, next is the skimmer, foam block inbetween skimmer and pump for micro bubbles ,so its bio balls then pump, foam block, skimmer,is this ok,will it still skim efficiently,do i have to have my pump be last, cause that would be a pain?sound ok,thanx roger

in other words do you have to have inlet on one side, skimmer in the middle, return pump on other end, like a flow thru,or can they both skimmer and pump be in the chamber either way?

The ideal is always if the skimmer is the first element of filtration. It will work either way but it is more effective if the water comes in and is skimmed before going through any other filtration.

i switched the spot of skimmer , now skimmer comes before return pipe,i will let u know if works better,if not what is a good sump for a 125 tank that will properly house the 9015,and fit under the tank, that will reduce the micro bubbles ,thanx roger

Sorry, I didn't see a question in the last post. I would use an Oceanic Model 2 sump.
