Just wanted to know if the new tunze stream 2 Magnet Holder will hold on a Acrylic Aquarium that is 1 inch thick? or the old magnets that hold the wavebox

It looks like the 6205 would hold as it has a stronger magnet.

I believe I recall roger saying in testing the larger magnet was able to hold up to 1.25" even though not rated at that. Dont quote me on it yet though

The 6205.50 magnet holder is rated to 1" and in many applications will work on 1.25". This magnet holder comes standard with the 6125, 6205 and 6305.
