tunze stream 6060 question

i have had my 6060 running for about a month now and very happy with it. yesterday, i was adjusting it's position and now it won't stay pointed in the same direction. it seems to slowly move and in a few hours be 30 degrees away from where i wanted it to stay.

the only difference i can think of is that when i was adjusting it, the connection between the pump and the bracket is now fully mated. before it was pretty snug, and i only had it about 3/4" fully mated, because i didn't want to force it and break something. i thought having it fully mated would be a good thing, but seems as if it's now a bit too loose.

did i do something wrong in the assembly? what can i do to keep it from moving?

any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

It is probably best to remove the bracket and pump, make sure the serrations on the bracket and pump hanger mesh up and push firmly. The only possibility is these were not fully lined up or some debris was caught between them.

i'll check on that. i didn't think that i should be able to turn the pump continuously left to right, but that is the case now. i figured i should only be able to adjust in the step size of the serrations. i hope i didn't break anything.

i'll go ahead and remove everything and clean them tonite.
