tunze stream 6080 users. please help

I just recieved my 6080 stream and am wondering how you others owners have yours located in your tank and if you have them on a timer or anything. Please include tank size and location of pump. I have a 90 g aga and also have a 1/2 ss on the tank and am wondering where to place the stream.

I guess that I am the only 6080 owner here on reefcentral. I just hooked it up on one side and pointed the flow to the middle of tank glass, the flow is incredible. it is very,very strong. I used to be able to look down into the tank and see the corals clear but now there is much turbulence. I love it.

i have my 6080 mounted in back corner,aimed towards middle and i have it running continuously.
i do believe the max you can switch the none electric pumps off/on is once an hour, as they are not designed for this, you risk the chance of destroying the brakes.
