Tunze Stream control?

Wow, that's a great question! I did not even think it could be hardware, all this time I was thinking FW.

Hrmmmm..

(edit) *ponder* If hardware, I wonder how it will connect :D

I'm gonna guess it would have to be hw because the stream aren't controlled by ac power. They have that plug that goes to the driver box which in turn connects to the controller. So I think they are going to have a unit that connects inline to the driver box. Lets hope it's firmware though.

I can only assume that they're picking up on the excitement over this possibility.

I'm looking forward to hearing more.

There will be a fire sale for Tunze Multi-Controller 7095s soon

There is another controller that I don't know the name of that is supposed to be able to control Tunzes.

Roger from the Tunze forum has been careful to point out possible warranty issues but without making any negative comments about using a non-Tunze controller.

I'm real interested in what Neptune comes out with. I hope it will do the 7095 deal where it can turn a channel nearly off (The pump makes turns on slowly and briefly every so often when in this mode to help keep fish and snails out). I have the 7094 that doesn't have this function.

i use a acjr to run two tunze 6025 nanostreams. each one on/off for 15 minutes, back and forth.

id like to get 2 6055's with "tunze controller" to do pulse action etc...

trying to read between the lines here...if i got the 6055's maybe i wouldnt need the tunze controller.

Waiting on this as well, this could solve many problems. This should also work with the new Hydor pumps too, right? ;)

Bill

I don't know how the speed of Hydor pumps are controlled but its probably a safe guess that if it isn't a totally differentscheme that they are not interchangeable.

I'm interested in finding out when this will be available as well. I currently own an ACII but am looking at upgrading to a new controller and would like for it to have the ability to control Tunzes.

Thanks!
