i have the tunze stream pumps i think they are the discontinued 8025 , the big ones with the controler box, anyway these things are too much flow ,my leathers and stuff wont open, origanally i was gonna do sps,now lps and softies,i have them turned down all the way ,and set to only work one at a time,i just set it like that ? any advice to calm the flow a tad besides getting different pumps ? direction ,setting ,ect ? thanks maybe roger can help

There never was an 8025, all Stream pumps have had a 6xxx number. I could be more help with the correct model number as well as type of controller being used. The model number will be on the pump, it will typically be a sticker with blue print, some of the oldest ones will have gold lettering.

its an 8025 controller and the black 6100 pumps 2 in a 125,i pushed them towards the back ,and set them on low,and have them alternating so only ones on at a time, seems better? any other ideas ?

Try putting the pumps low down on the back wall and point them up towards the water's surface. You'll get a lot of surface agitation, which is good, and the overall flow within the tank will be more diffuse.

We never made an 8025, controllers have always had a 709X number? The 6100 unfortunately could only angle left to right, you can angle them up slightly if you have the magnet holders and angle the magnet holder.

What is the model of the transformer (hockey puck)? If you have the 7410.602 which makes the pump a 6100, you could downsize to 7210.202 which would change the pump to a 6000 (11V instead of 19V). Both of these pumps used the motor 6100.100 and the transformer was the only difference.
