Tunze Stream on a 58 gal??

I have a 58 gal 36x18x21 would it be possible to use a stream in this size tank and if so what model? ...FYI this will be a sps tank

In most cases, you can never over do water movement. If you posted this question in the SPS forum, almost everyone will say yes. And compared to the ocean, this is nothing in terms of circulation(though better than many other powerheads).
 
I totally agree with you! I just want to make sure my tank isn't too small for a stream. Seems that they are pretty powerful and I wanted to make sure it would be OK to add one

I think you could use the 6000. I have a friend using one in a 58 and if it is too much you can turn it down.
 
i would definately get one with the controller and worse case yo ucan throttle it back, it is a great investment in my opinion, i 've seen one in a ction

my buddy has a couple on his 125 and they are amazing! Since I'm going mainly sps in my tank I want to have enough waterflow for everybody to prosper. right now I have about 21x turnover adding a 6000 would easliy double that:cool:
