I think these rocks look much better in current product photos compared with older ones. Is that a real design change, or just due to things like individual variation, photography technique, etc?

If ordering them online I'd like to make sure to get the current design, so it might be useful to know if and when it changed...

It changed almost 2 years ago, they are smaller now.
