Tunze Stream wire routing?

Hi Roger,

I plan on using a pair of 6100 Streams on a 150gal aquarium that I'm having built. The tank will have a 4" wide eurobracing around the top. I would like to have holes drilled in the eurobracing to route the cords from the Tunze Streams thru. I believe the Stream cords are attached to some type of step down transformer. Is it possible to detach the cord from this transformer so I can route the cord thru the holes in the eurobracing?

Yes, if you detach the cord from the driver you will require a 3/4" opening to comfortably move the cord through, you have to be very careful to not get the terminal wet while doing this.

The cord seems hardwired at both ends. Do you have to cut the wire and reattach or resolder? Is the warranty affected?

Thanks. I had looked inside the driver but didn't notice that the plug could come out. It's all good now.
