Tunze Streams for a 210 gallon

I am planning my 210 reef and I want to put a stream or 2 in it. At first I was going to use seaswirls but after reading all of the posts about the steams they sound a whole lot better and have less maintenence than the swirls. The only drawback is the price but I guess you gotta pay more for quality. I was wondering how long the warranty is and what is covers? Getting back to the tank, I am going to have a bunch of fish in it and a mixture of all types of corals. There are going to be 2 returns with some Locline and maybe another return from a chiller. I was thinking about getting 2 6000s with a multicontroller? Will that be sufficient? Where exactly in the tank would I put them? If I were to put them in the rock would I put the 2 rocks at the bottom of the tank near the front on opposite sides, facing upwards or somewhere else? Could I get away with using 1 6100 and a singlecontroller? If yes, where would I place it? The tanks dimensions are 72" long, 24" wide, and 30" tall.

Thanks,
Jeremy

You could conceivably use just one. It will depend what you want to keep. If you want SPS two would be preferred. The pumps will run without a controller and you can control the flow on the driver box so you could buy one and decide on whether or not you need another before buying a controller. The warranty is two years- it is a typical warranty covering manufacturing defects but not user error such as salt water damage to the electronics or neglect from not cleaning the pumps or an impact from a snail etc on the prop. Every component is individually replaceable so they can be repaired in such events without to tremendous an expense. A prop is $8, the driver is about $75, the magnetic drive unit is $28. Those are the only parts that are usually damaged. The pumps run on low voltage and the transformer has both thermal and impedence protection so it is virtually indestructible. The pump can really only be ruined by a power surge of some magnitude. A surge protector eliminates this risk, the surge would also take out the driver (computer). I would put them on either end. If you use the rocks you will want them to be in the middle reaches of the tank- the rocks give the pump a slight upward angle. They should be the top rock to faciliatate service which should be performed at 3 to 6 month intervals depending on calcium and KH content and debris in the water.
