Tunze Streams: How did you mount transformer...?

I was wondering how everyone has installed their Tunze Stream's hardware...? I know that moisture is BAD bad bad for the transformer... Has anyone located them out of the cabinet altogether...?

The driver is more the issue as the transformer is waterproof and mounting would just be for neatness. The blue driver box should be mounted anywhere it cannot get wet and will not be exposed to excess moisture. I generally mount it to the door of my stand away from the sump but I cover my sumps and only turn3-4 times an hour thru the sump.

how long is the cord for the driver box? I have a fish closet about 2-3 feet from my tank would this work?

So, Roger, inside of a high evaporation cabinet is probably not a good idea huh? I should probably look to mounting them on the wall, away from the cabinet altogether...? Would the same hold true for the 7094 multi controller as well?

Yes, in this circumstance my preferred is to build a cabinet to display all my meters and gadgets finished the same as my stand or to wall off a section of the stand inside and mount the electronics inside the barriered area.

I have my drivers and transformers in the equipment closet for the tank. The transformers are just screwed into the board through the center hole.

The tank is on the other side of the wall. Fortunately, the Streams pumps have long power cords.
I would put the electronics as far as possible from water.
I killed an IceCap ballast with water splashed from the tank a few years ago. After that, I boxed the ballasts in on 3 sides and put an acrylic splash shield over the front.

Cool so I can put mine in my nearby, as in right behind the tank, closet. Nice looking setup there doug.
