Very little sand disturbance.

Joel, whats driving that, motor size, gears, etc?. I found something at American Science surplus, Pinball motors turns 90dig. heavy duty the only problem its too fast, 5rpm,Im looking for some thing, would slow the motor down. That was a brilliant idea man,I have 2 6200,if could make'em swivel,my growing acros. would love it even more. Thanks, Bud.

Menard, it's just a 3/4" sea-swirl. Easy as pie to do. Just hand the rails on some pvc and attach to the output of the swirl.

Man, I dont know about that sea swirl motor. that motor too sm. to drive that big *** tunze,we'll see how long it will last. Over the past 6yrs I replace that motor twice. Thanks, Man

hey ostrow

if you can find them, they use to make a product that held powerheads the same way. I believe champion lighting use to carry them.

Does anyone know if the motor in the 1" Swirl is larger or stronger than the 3/4" Swirl motor? I have a new 1" swirl and I'm thinking of trying a Tunze Swirl mod myself.

The pump ate my Kole Tang. By all appearances it was perfectly healthy, very fat, eating constantly both in tank and prepared. A wreck now, clearly on the way out though still eating.

I wonder if the swirling caused some current that made the intake stronger? Sad... Tunze off for now...

The Tunze pump ate your Tang? Could you explain a little more?

Thanks in advance and sorry it happened.

Isn't the intake for the Tunze's a small grate that surrounds the propeller? I have some tunze 6100 and just don't want to run into the same problem.

thanks!
