Tunze Temperature Controller-Set

Where is the best location for temperature probe? The heater is in the entry side of the sump and the temp probe is currently located on the exit side of the sump. Tank constantly reads about one degree warmer. Any suggestions?

I think in tank is generally best. I also generally prefer the heater be in tank. Basically I believe in the 4 out of 5 rule. If 4 out of 5 parameters are OK your tank will survive but with an in sump heater you could lose heat and filtering and be down to 3/5 if the return pump fails and sustain major losses.
