tunze upgrade

i have a tunze 7240/2 and was wondering if i could upgrade it to the stream type tunze by possibly replacing the impeller and housing?

Yes, you need the housing, prop assembly and holder set, parts 6060.25, 6080.13 and 6100.70.

Yes, you would need to know what you have now, it is either a 7200/2 which becomes a 6000 or a 7400/2 which becomes a 6100. The flow triples.

You would need at a minimum parts 6080.640, 6080.641 and 6100.12, the new drive unit is just easier to work with. Prop 6200.120 is too big and will damage the motor of your pump.

can i do the transformer upgrade for my 7240/2....i upgraded the propeller, i believe this makes my 7240/2 a "tunze 6000"
so if i replaced my transformer with a 6100 transformer will this give me 3,00gph+

7240/2 is a type of motor not a type of pump, it is either a 7200/2 or 7400/2 if it is a 7200/2 it becomes a 6000 if it is a 7400/2 it becomes a 6100, the transformer is the difference.
