Hey all I need a new pump my k4's went put so I had been running only off my maxi mod. We all know how long those last for. Anyway I'm here to kinda do the buy once cry once deal. So I had my eye set on the tunze 6105 for a few weeks now but I was looking to buy an noticed the polario which wlsewmed sweet I has a controll and has 2 heads for flow which can alternate. So what do you know about these 2 pumps? Any suggestions?

The Polario is made by Rio, which has a poor track record as far as regular pumps go. I have not heard much feed back on these or the turbine types they make, but after a few problems with their reg circulation pumps, I am very skeptical. Tunze makes an awesome and reliable product that is backed up by their company 100%. Roger in the Tunze forum is A#1 when it comes to Customer Service.

I would not rule out Vortech Mp40's as well. I had some problems with my original models but they were soon replaced with minimal hassel. Once again, great customer service. You get what you pay for is what I stand by.

Hmmm I prefer Tunze as they are well know for a great product. Plus there company will fix it 100% if something is wrong just ship it back and they will send you a new one. Best bang for your buck to me

Love Tunze, hate Rio.
2x 6055's on a controller maybe?

For me it is love Tunze, would never think about buying Rio.
