TUNZE Wavebox 6212 & new unit drive?

I just received my new Wavebox purchased from my LFS. After looking at the directions, there is a piece of paper that says:

Caution! New drive unit with Hydro propeller for Turbelle stream 6200 and Wavebox 6212.
Will be replaced 6200.700

Does that mean it was replaced before ship or does it mean it needs to be replaced? I haven't opened any of the parts yet, just the directions.

Sounds like you got the new "one piece" drive unit.
Look inside the pump.
6200.700 is the new part number for replacement drives.

Hmm... all I see is Turbelle stream 6260.10 on the back of the pump. I opened it and there isn't anything written on the inside. Is this the wrong end I opened? If I try opening any other way, I would have to use quite a bit of force.

DO NOT PRY THE BACK OFF. What he meant was just compare the drive unit to the one on the flyer. The fact the flyer was in there though means you have the new one piece style drive unit.

Thanks! I almost did pry that back off. However, when I took the front end off, I saw some drops like it was wet.
I wiped it with my finger and it feels like oil. Is that okay? Did that just spatter because I took the circular grill off?
I'm all ready to put it in the tank and I'm so excited! It's a crazy feeling because of all the warnings in the pamphlet to make sure your tank and stand is stable.
I'm half expecting this thing to rock over my tank!

It is glycerin, 1ml of it and 4ml of distilled water used to test the pump. It is harmless.
