Tunze WAVEBOX - just quit

I believe this message is for Roger, or any other Tunze rep that might be able to assist. I purchased the Tunze wavebox approx a year ago, maybe 15 months directly from MarineDepot. Been working great - and just the other day, it just stopped working.

Read through a few previous posts - sounds like it could be the power supply, but based on my gut, I think its the actual pump itself. I believe someone else had a similar problem and after replacing the power supply, he realized the pump was probably what started it all. Nothing got wet, or anything like that. Matter of fact, I just happened to be near the tank when I heard it just stop.

Did the whole unplug, clean, etc, etc. Everything looks fine. But when I plug it in, nothing happens at all with the pump - no movement, or attempt to start.

Roger or someone similar - can you please assist? I dont really know what options I have at this point. Hoping its repairable, or at least still under some kind of warranty.

Please advise at your earliest convenience. Thanks inadvance.

By the way, I have the pump 6261, with controller 6091.

:worried:

It is still under warranty, the best course would be to send in the pump, power supply and controller. I don't need the box itself. We will replace whichever part is bad.

Many many thanks, Roger. I will box it up tonight and will get it out to you tomorrow. Thanks again !

Approx how long is the typical turnaround on these types of returns? Just want to know so I can properly supplement my tank's waterflow conditions in the absence of the wavebox.

Thanks again.

Gerard

Typically we complete a repair within 24hrs of receipt, the only exceptions are repairs which require soldering or extensive testing, but this isn't such a repair. Usually the max is 72hrs and then we ship back by UPS ground.

Hi Roger,

You should be receiving my pump any day. My wife sent it via Fedex and it went out on Thursday. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks again.
