Tunze Wavebox Question

I am in the process of designing a new 180 gallon (6x2x2) tank to replace my current one. I am planning on running a Wavebox in it. I understand that the Wavebox will need some clearance from the water's surface to the top of the tank. Therefore, my question is, how long should the teeth in my overflow be? This will affect the height of the water's surface. Btw, the overflow will be in the middle. Should it positioned differently in order to optimize the Wavebox?

Thank you!

The middle on the back wall is the ideal. I would have the teeth set at 1.5" long.
