tunze wavebox = WOW

FYI, bebo77 his tank is 48x24x24. He has enough directional flow from his return. I don't think he need anymore pumps to move the water.

hey steve, I just readjusted it, now its about an inch of water movement. the wave is quite a bit bigger now

After you put the two screws in the back of the wavebox to plug it up. You should ad another 1/8"wave. IMO it make a big different

Yes, the wavebox ROCKS !

It's a great device and really creates a significant amount of water movement.

I installed mine into a 96x24x30 and it does a great job of moving the water everywhere.

I still have two 6100s and I feel they are still needed to create true waterflow everywhere, but the Wavebox is a great invention.

WORD OF CAUTION:
Be careful to turn off the wavebox during water changes, particularly if you are ADDING water to your sump with the return pumps off. If you leave the Wavebox on, it will continue to push the water over the overflow from the tank, thereby possibly causing a sump overflow.

Also, be sure and calculate this water displacement in your sump MAX Water level, in case your return pumps fail for some reason and your Wavebox stays on.

Okay, I added one 6000 back into the tank. Now it really rocks the tank! hahaha. I plugged the 6000 into the slaveport of the controller and it seems to work really well.
