I am having a custom glass tank built. Dimensions are 63X36X25 with external overflow at one end. The tank is viewable from three sides. I have considered three options for flow (outside my return pump, ampmaster 3000).
a) Two 6100 with controller
b) One Wavebox plus one 6100 (smaller control)
c) Closes loop with OM or two Dart pumps.
With all the fittings, holes etc. all the options are pretty much the same cost.
Would you recomend a or b? The wavebox would be placed on the end with the overflow, along with the 6100.
Once the box is tuned to the tank, can the amplitude be turned up and down?
Should I have the overflow slots cut deeper to lower the water level to prevent water overflow if I go with the wavebox?
Is there any way to demo a wavebox? It would be pretty simple to just drop one in and see what the results are without the worry of being stuck with something that does not work the way you had hoped.
Thanks,
Ken
