Tunze Wavemaker 6212 - Troubleshooting Help Needed

We just bought a new Tunze 6212 Wavemaker and it doesn't work. We unpacked it, plugged it in and nothing???? The power supply gets warm but none of the controller lights come on. I have reread the instruction manual and I did everything it said to do...

Please help! I need my new toy!

Try to disassemble the pump and put it back to see if it is going to work. Do you see any light on your black AC adapter looking thing? You should see a 24v fuse on that black thing and it light up

I will try and disassemble the pump. There isn't a light on on the AC adapter thing. I did see the fuse but nothing is lit; makes me think there is something wrong with the adapter thingy. ???

Took another peek at the fuse - not lit; took it out and placed it back in... nothing. The power supply adapter thingy just gets warm.

Pump isn't getting power.

Should I bring this back to the store I purchased it from?

Yes and have them replace with another AC adapter. Make sure you have them test it before you bring them home. If you have another 6101 AC adapter at home, you can use it to test your wavebox... The fuse need to be lid....

Typically we handle all warranty replacements, it sounds like the power supply is defective, I can replace it if your dealer doesn't.
