tunze with aquatronica controller

I was thinking of adding some stream pumps to my 150 with dual overflows. Two questions what would a good combination of pumps be? And can they be controlled from an aquatronica controller to be used as wave makers?

I have a mix of softies, lps and sps corals and a three inch sand bed.

Thanks

I am not familiar with that controller but any non Tunze controller does void the warranty with the exception of a simple timer at one hour intervals also being acceptable. The ideal would be 2 6000 and a 7095 and this combo can do more than any other controller since you can set pump speed as well.

Thank you for your info, the other controller only has the ability to turn the pumps off and on via killing power to the receptical. It would however shut off power if say the water level got low or at feeding times, or off and on as programed for wave action.

I was hoping to have just one controller do everything.

I have an AC III Pro which runs everything except my two streams. While it would be nice to have a controller for eveything using anything but a Tunze controller would really limit the streams. I recommend using the 7095 because it will vary the speed (pulses) of the streams and you get more turbulent flow that way.

Cheers!
