Hi Roger,
I have a 30gal. cube right now but will be probably be stepping up to a 120 or 180 gal in the next year. i would like to add one of the 7*00 turbelle kits to the 30gal. tank now then when I upgrade I would transfer this to the new tank and add to it one of the stream PH's. I was just wondering if this sounds ok and also what size electronic kit you would get?In the 30gal. right now I have a 1/2" sea swirl w/ about 500 gal. per hour on my return. this tank has mainly sps but there are a few LPS on the bottom. Thank you in advance for any comments or suggestions. Also how is availability on the 7000 series turbelle kits?
See Ya,
Chad

7300/2 and 7400/2 should be no problem. I have them here if anyone is out. I think Champion and Marine Depot have the 7200/2 in there inventories. This is a tough call. For a 30, I could not see going bigger than a 7200/2. If you go with the 120, what I would do is order a 6100 and then swap transformers making your 7200/2 a 7400/2 and your 6100 Stream a 6000. For a 180 though, you would likely have to buy a 6100 and a bigger transformer to convert your 7200/2 into a 7400/2.

Hi Roger,
Thank you for your reply. That is great i did'nt realize you could change transformers to bump the flow. When I get my bigger tank i will be getting the stream PH. Should I order this w/ the multi controller or should I get the kit w/ the single controller. Is there any features on the multicontroller that the single controlller does not offer. I guess obviously it ould be easier to run both pumps from 1 controlller. just did'nt know if there was any other added benefits. thank you for your time I greatly appreciate it. Also I know a 30gal. may be a little small for these pumps but I just hate spending money on something of a lesser quality when I am going to be upgrading soon.My old wavemaker just went out about a month ago so this is what I am replacing.
Thanks again,
Chad

I would get the Multicontroller as the Single controller which can run two pumps when outfitted with a branch adapter only lets you run both pumps on the same program, the multicontroller would allow you to independently set both pumps and coordinate the pumps so they are doing the opposite of each other as well as some other programming possibilities.
