Turbelle Streams

Roger,

I would be grateful for your recommendation for an appropriate system for my ~200 gallon 65" x 32" x 32'" tank. I currently have a 4000 L/h return from the sump to two surface nozzles and a similar volume closed loop system. I am not at all satisfied with the in tank circulation thus I would like to explore the possibility of a Turbelle Stream system, either along with closed loop or as a replacement system.

Thanks,

David

I would probably go with a TS24 if the tank was predominantly SPS otherwise two 6000's and a multicontroller, this could work for SPS if you keep the closed loop, even if you used a smaller pump.

I really don't know. It is a real possibility that it will be trouble but this will depend on how you aim them and power settings and what program you use as well as how old the sand is.

Roger-

I have an established sand-bed approximately one year old. I would be grateful for any tips you might have regarding prevention of sandstorms. A related question is whether the properties of the new multicontroller about to come out allow better control of this (potential) problem.

Thanks,

David

Since I haven't tried it I just can't tell you it will work. You can turn down the flow and only run one pump at a time. The 7095 can run the pumps slightly slower so this may help.
