Turbo Snail ooozing

I am not sure if you "need" it or not, but when mine did it, there were 2 doing it at the same time.

Usually when one of my snails starts doing it, at least 10 of them join in. Fish go nuts and the corals love it.

I've had had this happen before and it clouded my tank for several hours. At first I thought my tank had crashed but then saw the stuff coming out of all my turbo snails. No baby snails for me. I would think none would survive going through powerheads, pumps and skimmer.

they do not have a problem with powerheads, pumps, and skimmers as they are stuck to whatever surface they are on, in my case, usually the glass.

here is a pic of one of them, this is after a couple weeks. You can see his size compared to the snail below him. This was the best pic I could get as he is in my overflow at the back of the tank.

Interesting...I found baby nerites in my tank this weekend. I guess they've been doing some hanky panky when the lights go down.

I've had the same thing with my stomatella snails. I added like 4 in and now i have at least 30+. I have dendros so if I am out of food, sometimes my dendros will eat a few snails

If anyone has stomatella snails, when they start smoking it looks funny. You can see them like fire it out. lol

still wondering, since only 1 snail was smoking, whether others need to join in to make the little ones.
