Turboflotor 1000 help

Is anybody running one of these? I am building a sump for a friend that is using this skimmer and I need to know what the optimum water level is for the skimmer chamber and what a good secondary pump would be. Would a MJ400 do it or does it require something more like a 1200? It is also using a rio 2500 for the recirc.

When I used mine I used the RIO 2100 pin wheel and fed it with a MJ 900 or 1000. Water was around 7 - 8 inches in the sump. Not sure this is the preferred settings but it was working.

BTW, did you like the skimmer and would you think its right for a 90g?

The skimmer is ok but to small for a 90 in my opinion. I feel it is good for a 55 and maybe a light bioload 75.
