Just wondering if any one uses the Tunze PH controller and what you though of it.

I purchased a Tunze calcium reactor last year and this pH controller was recommended for proper operation. I've been using it for awhile now and I'm very pleased with it, unit is built well and no problems whatsoever. More expensive than others on the market but I feel my money was well spent.
I use one on both my reef and plant tanks, pretty much as Doxyman said. It is very accurate, precise to the 100ths place. It uses a lab grade glass/ platinum electrode that is refillable. The solenoid is nickel plated/ teflon coated and 9V. It is expensive but I haven't found anything better.

Roger if you think they are expensive in the US you should see the price in Australia!!!
I dont mind paying for quality if th product is good as in the long run its cheaper (as you dont have to end up replacing everything 3 times).
I will have a much deeper look at this unit when my Tank matures!
