The smaller one has been twitching 2-4 times beside the bigger one then they would swim together again. Is this twitching normal or not?

Yes, it's very normal for clowns that are "pairing" up. The twitching shows the smaller clown's submission to the larger clown which would most likely be the female and the smaller submissive one would be the male. As long as the little one doesn't fight back at the female's aggression and does the twitch for a bit, they should hopefully be a pair soon :celeb1: . Good Luck!

Yes, very normal and good behavior. It's the way a smaller clown shows submission to the larger (probably female) clown.

I can't beleive their gonna pair up so fast. Just got them yesterday too. Is there an estimate time on how long the the twitching stops?

It can take from days to months. The fact that there is twitching and not biting is a very good sign. Just sit back and enjoy. Clownfish are some of the most animated creatures in the sea.

Hmmm, no real way to tell it kind of depends on the clowns. I guess if you see them always swimming/ sleeping together and only doing the twitching on occasion, I guess then you could classify them as paired up.
