Two 6060s on a 60g cube

Hello,
I have two 6060s I would like to place in a 24"x24"x24" 60 gal cube. This will be barebottom and completly SPS. Do you suggest that run them both on constantly or place a wave timer on them to alternate flow?
Any other suggestions would be great.

I would alternate them but I would keep in mind their has to be at least an hour between off and on cycles so a wavemaker is out of the question. A basic timer is what you would want to use. It might be useful to overlap the times by 10 minutes or so to get a surge.
