Two Clown Questions!

I have a 29G DT, 30G Sump, 10G Fuge, No Skimmer (yet) Stocked with:

Coral Beauty Angel (small)
Ocellaris Clown
Blue Chromis

Questions:

1.) I would like an anemone in the hopes that my clown will host it, but don't know which one would be best for most likeliness to host, and ease to keep. Considering a BTA, but not sure if there would be a better choice.

2.) If I don't choose an anemone, what other type of clown should I choose to pair/co-exist with my Ocellaris? I would like some variety and was thinking of a black Ocellaris...

Thanks!

I would assume a black O would be fine to pair with your existing clown since they're the same species. Just gotta make sure you pick the proper size to make sure you don't get two females.

Yep, black/orange ocellaris pairs are common. BTA would be your best option IMO, but be aware that all hosting species can get quite large, and you may need to upgrade to a larger tank eventually.

Thanks, I was told that my O clown will become female after being the only clown in my tank after about a month, and I should buy a small O clown afterwards to ensure a male/female pair.

I'm planning on moving when I graduate to a different college and at that time I will upgrade tanks to probably a 75 Gallon or maybe bigger.

Is another O clown the only type that can co-exist with my current O clown?

Thanks for the advice.
