Two different color monti caps growing together how common? Pics

Okay I just went back and checked my colony. The photo above was taken on 11/30/08 so it is now about 2 months old and it appears to me to be keeping the same boundaries, nothing has changed where they are touching the only thing that has changed are the outer edges. I will try and get an updated shot soon. This is good news so far this is what I'm hoping for but still not 100% sure yet.

Okay sorry for the delay. I just took a pic of it. It's hard to tell from the pic but it has grown a good amount and had to stand back a little more to get the whole coral. It is now getting shaded pretty good from the corals above it and the parts in the back are really starting to struggle because of this, I'm hoping it doesn't start to die off in the back.

Up Date - everything is still good and growing. I dropped my tunze mag float on the piece pictured above and broke a big chunk off a few months ago, it is now much bigger. I have been playing around with some frags the last 6 months or so, I will try and get some pics up. I got a huge mother colony I made up that I think is going to be spectacular, its cooking right now still needs to grow a little more.

I have never sold a frag of this grafted cap but recently have seen someone on ebay selling a cap that they claim grows together but looked like to me it was just swirling. Also heard of a LE grafted cap is coming out, saw a pic of one of the frags and it looks to be similar color to mine but a small graft but still none the less if they grafted it I would assume it could be large grafts like mine, we will see. I'm going to try and post some pics up of a couple of experiments I have been working on. When I have more time I'm going to try and write something with the graft or maybe a symbol would be cool. For those that posted thanks for your patience, I should have some things worth looking at uploaded soon.

Although I hate all these names with corals now, you should call it "Emster's Watermelon Grafted Cap."
