I have about 6 or 7 frag discs that I made up, they have been in the frag tank for awhile now, going to combine 3 or 4 of them together and put them in my display tomorrow. Don't know if I posted a pic of my display but here is an old one....

Really awesome! No white at all. I have several digis doing this but that frag disk idea is great. As I looked at your last picture, I thought about how cool a specific picture would be on a disk(love the checkerboard too though!). Like a paint by numbers. Would be very interesting for a base until it grows out of course.

What I would really want would be two encrusting montis that did not kill each other but have yet to find them. I think the down side with the caps is they will fan out over each other and one will try and win out. I think if you could find some encrusting montis that did this you could actually make some pretty cool stuff and maybe a picture or you know how they do with flowers at Disney and write things. I think I can still do some pretty cool things with the caps by trimming them or I think they might swirl up and look pretty cool too,can't wait to see what happens.

The purple haze is the encrusting one on the left next to the superman in your pic, its really a beautiful piece....
Sorry these are the best pics of my purple haze I could find, it is much larger now and is probably my fastest growing monti, it is behind and on the right in this pic...

They're different. Purple Haze is an encrusting monti. Idaho Grape is a monti cap.

I will try and get some updated shots soon, but I have to tell you they are not really growing that fast. I think it could be because they are in my frag tank and they are constantly getting moved around, its a tuff life in there.
Heres is a pic of some that I put in my display tank and they are just now starting to color back up but still need a little more time to grow together...
