Two Dwarf Angels?

Would two dwarf angels be alright in a 75 gallon? I already have a black nox, and wanting to add either a coral beauty, Flame Angel, or a bicolor angel. Would it be ok?

IMO, this is a classic "its the individual fish" question that just doesn't have a yes or no answer. I've done it several times and have had to move one several times. BTW, if you get a bi-color, be sure of the dealer and origin. These fish aren't the problem they once were, but lots of them sound like they are still cyanide captured. Fiji is exporting some great ones now. I'd avoid any from the Philippines, Indonesia, or just labeled "Indo-Pacific". I think "Indo-Pacific origin" translates into "somewhere to worry about".

that may be how it acts now, but once other dwarf added it could easily go to being the most aggressive, example 6 line wrasse nice fish till a fairy or flasher is added, then it turns to a little devil and being 1/3 the size of other fish

To start off if ur nox is already in the tank than your going to have to take him out and mix up the rocks before adding the other fish. IMO you should be fine. On the other hand NyReefNoob is right he could totally change his attitude towards the other dwarf and other fish. If you're going to do it pick an angel with a different shape than the nox and make sure they're the same size or have the new fish be slightly bigger. A good fish that would work is the golden angel considering it's docile, different shape, and different color. Currently have a golden mixed with a potters 2.5 years.

From my 75 (( it is a blue morph of C. Nox -- unfortunately I lost the small flame when I moved ))

This went a long way towards helping things out -- they were in there for a week.

I have a Flameback with a Bi-color in a 60 gallon. The Bi-color was in first, from my now defunct 36 gallon bowfront. Then I added the C. acanthops. There was a LOT of chasing for a week or two, but the Flameback is faster, smaller, and really, the more aggressive fish.
Parody has been realized. An uneasy truce prevails, now.
I don't know that I would try it again, not without completely re-doing the tank's rockwork.
2-3 dwarf angels works best if done at the same time.

Personally I think it should work fine.

Todd, how is your C. Nox, I actually saw what I thought to be a blue nox at my lfs but couldnt pull the trigger over space issues in my current tank, would've been with my golden.

I have always kept pygmy angels in small groups, right now I have a 40 gallon mini reef with two potters, two cherubs and a fishers angel, every once in a while they will chase each other around, head to tail in very tight circles but overall they get along fine.

I couldn't find a very good photo, and this is one of when I had a very bad outbreak of hair algae in the tank but here is one of the cherubs with a small potters.

It is doing great -- need to update my thread about it one of these days -- for a while there is started to get HLLE, but that seems to have been reversed. It was either from the pump for my skimmer going bad (( ended up getting a new skimmer )), or my lack of water changes -- just moved and prior to that I was too busy looking for a place/packing to do water changes.

HLLE would have stunk, I would hate to lose such a beautiful fish.
