Two Leopard wrasses

I have two Blue Star wrasses (females) currently in QT.

For the last couple days one of them has been going into the sand at about 4 PM with the lights on.

Any idea way she would be doing this.

Sounds perfectly normal to me. They will go there to sleep and will also dive into the sand if startled by anything. It's what they do.

What you DON'T want to do is go digging around in the sand looking for them. The only thing you will do is harm the fish. Leave it be. It will be out when it wants to be.
