can two naso tangs get along in the same(400gal.) tank? I have a 6" naso, and a friend was selling a 6" blond, and was wondering if it was doable. Just started stocking and tho only other large fish so far is a 4" yellow tang.

How long has the original been in there by himself? they are both fairly small for Naso's so as long as the first one hasnt completely claimed the tank it might, but it is going to be a risk. Be prepared to intervene if necessary

I think the no-same-species rule for tangs are blown a little out of proportion, especially for naso. Naso tangs are actually very mild mannered tangs that don't typically squabble with other fish. If the tank is large (which yours is), you shouldn't have trouble introducing two together. I have a pair (8" male, 7" female) in my 225g and they never fought once.

Of course, when you introduce the blonde, do it after lights are out, and like Donkeykong suggested, intervene if things go wrong.

I'm inclined to agree with Kong and Sand, but what Jimmy said is certainly notable. Certainly be ready to intervene. I had a Naso for about 5 years it was the least aggressive Tang I've owned.
