Two of Eight

Sorry for the crappy iPhone picture. LEDs are a little hard to shoot. There are 5 of the ai 52s and 4 lumenmax elites with 400watt radiums
 
I was reading a few places that if you dim the fixture there is a buzzing noise coming for the light would you be able to confirm if this is a fact ? And if so how loud ?
 
Fortunately I have not heard any buzzing sound coming from any of the fixture. I also have them up high in the 2 foot hood with all of the vortech pumps making most of the noise in the background.
 
Tweeked my lighting spectrum based on time of day. I don't use the ramp up/down thing like others do. I have all the LEDs a 100% full blast from 10am to 3pm as shown. With the reds and greens also at 100% it is more of a 14k look.


Ironically the LEDs can mimic a VHO super actinic BETTER than the real VHO super actinic. I have it on from 3pm to 9pm then halides from 9pm to midnight.

I forgot you work at IKEA nitty. Here is a better shot. I try my best to keep everything neat so my wife does not nag on me.

Last I recall you are switching back to halides. Might as well use your radion with it. I just sold the kessil A360W E series to Robert. I am getting another 2 AI 52s tomorrow at Aquarium Depot. Will be eating dog food until the next payday I guess. Haha.
 
Nice work on the cabinet, Glenn. You come back around my neck of the woods, ask for me. Esp if you are wanting something related to our beloved hobby :)
