Just beautiful. Purple is an amazing color in SW tanks isn't it!
The Actinics really bring out the specks in them.
Gorgeous, now how about a full tank shot?

the clownfish are a. chrysopterus, the anemone h. crispa.

heres sort of a full tank shot.

and...to think, it wasnt so long ago they all looked like this...

that is an awesome H crispa. The color change in clowns is really amazing to me. I wonder if it is due to host , or if there is a dietary requirement for color that we miss out in prepared foods.

yeah the color change was definetely a bummer. but partially expected. the anemone....has definetely grown. its just 5 inches or so shy of two feet across. and its color is definetely washed out in the photos. its got such a beautiful purple color to it. violet purple....with magenta like tips....i dont know. its really great.

to narrow down your question of the color change maww, the two clowns were allegedly collected with that anemone.

im convinced its something dietary, even though ive tried a huge array of food.

thank you everyone for the compliments.

Hi there!

Nice photos and nice clowns to boot.

I am still on the prowl for some nice ones.

Best,
Ilham
