Two Vortech's, one Battery Backup, how long?

how long will one battery backup last for two vortech pumps at half speed? I'm trying to see if I'll need one or two battery backups.

Most of the tests I have done on battery run times has shown it will average 32-36 hours. Running 2 pumps will cut that in half.
Run time may vary slightly and will depend on it being fully charged, the age of the battery and how many times it has been drained down then charged.

I had 2 running full blast on one BB and they didn't make it 8 hrs. In a power outage.

so it would be recommended to just go with two batteries to last about 30 hours?

Kinetic, I would definitely just hook it up to one vortech. One is plenty of flow to keep your tank sustained. I had one vortech and the BB on my 150, and it was plenty. Hth.

That's a good idea. I hope Jesse didn't put my order in for the Vortech's yet =X I'd be saving a hundred or so.
