TWO weeks CO2 Only ??

lanshark

It's Landshark, aka SNL
I am traveling for 12 days and folks feeding fish no nothing about calc reactor, etc... Looking for safest approach regarding leaving reactor on and wide open to avoid sticking lines. I have PH probe in effluent cup and seperate PH Probe for AC3 controller.

What happens if I open lines calc outlines wideopen and just let CO2 at 1 bubble every 3-4 seconds (My current setting) go through 24/7?

or

Shut of CO2 and reactor for 12 days? What will most likely occur to PH/ALK, etc. ?

If I open my reactor output drip lines wide open, just mean media won't melt. I have the koralin 1502 two outputs.

All thoughts appreciated!..

Whats wrong with leaving it dialed in the way it is? They can be left for months without adjustment if done correctly.

Do you have a CO2 controller?

Thanks Everybody. I have a feed pump, however sometimes the feed to lines plug? I have the little black gate values and it's a trust think. If I control CO2 on the effluent with Milwaukee ph controller, if the drips stop. Co2 could continue buildup in reactor? I guess what I needed to know asap was, if reactor is shutdown, will something in the tank spike, like PH while I'm gone ?

I agree. I virtually never change anything except when the tanks run down.
