Alright I know that this is really dumb. But I bought a wrasse yesterday, it was a pure inpulse buy. I got the basic info on him and he is perfect for my 125 tank. The only thing is I cant remember the type of the wrasse it is that the lady told me. Ok so lets play, NAME THAT WRASSE

I'm sorry I don't know the answer. But I have a similar question. I just bought a fish in my local store which I believe belongs to the family of Wrasse. When I was trying to check its name from my fish book, I was surprised that some wrasses are not reef safe. Could somebody kindly identify the fish for me, and is it reef safe? Thank you!

The first picture may be some type of Halichoeres wrasse, but the picture is hard for me to seen on my phone.

The second wrasse is a Cirrhilabrus naokoae, and yes it is reef safe.

First pic looks like a male bipartitus; 2nd pic looks like some type of fairy wrasse...How deep a sandbed do you guys have? Wrasses should have at least 2"s of fine sandbed to dive into to sleep & for when they're feeling stressed.
